Čištění suchým ledem je revoluční proudovou metodou, při které se jako čisticí prostředek používají granule suchého ledu – oxidu uhličitého ve stlačené formě. Tato technika umožňuje rychle se zbavit nežádoucí špíny ze strojů, zařízení, forem a mechanických prvků, bez přerušení jejich provozu. Jemně a efektivně odstraňuje zbytky produktů, maziv, olejů, prachu, rzí, zbytků lepidel, barev a laků, stejně jako sazí a sedimentů po požárech.

- Tepelný efekt - nízká teplota suchého ledu (-79oC) způsobuje křehkost nečistot, vytváří se trhliny, což usnadňuje jejich odstranění
- Sublimace - suchý led proniká vrstvou nečistot a okamžitě se odpařuje a zvyšuje tím objem nečistot zhruba 700 krát. Prostřednictvím této reakce je nečistota odtržená od povrchu, který má být vyčištěn.
